Who Can Register as Delegate?

Participation in the ISF World Seed Congress is not open to everyone.

You can register as a Delegate if you are:
– a representative of an ISF Member (Ordinary, Associate and Affiliate)
– an employee of a company that is a member of the National Seed Association in your country of residence. This National Seed Association must be an ISF Ordinary Member.

Delegates have access to the Trading Floor, Exhibitor Area and to Open Meetings as well as to all Social Events (Opening Ceremony, Welcome Party and Gala Dinner).

Delegate On-site Registration Conditions

On-site registration will only be granted and processed if the Delegate provides a signed declaration from her/his National Seed Association confirming that the Organization or Company that she/he represents is a member of that National Seed Association.

For more information on participation as a Delegate, refer to the Registration Inclusions and Registration Rates. Please also make sure you know your company’s membership level to ISF prior to submitting your registration request.

Translator needs to be registered as Delegate to have access to the full Congress venue and therefore pay the full registration fee.

Who Can Register as an Exhibitor?

Membership to ISF is not necessary for Exhibitors. For more information on exhibit booths as well as for the exhibitor registration eligibility and fees, refer to the Exhibition section.

Accompanying Persons

This registration category is only applicable to the spouse, companion and/or children of Delegates. Registration allows them to attend the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Party, Gala Dinner and the Accompanying Person’s tours. Accompanying Persons can also enter the Golf Tournament (at an additional cost).

Accompanying Persons do not have access to the Congress Venue (Exhibition area, Trading Floor, ISF Open Meetings and General Assembly). Children under 12 years pay no registration fees and may not attend the Opening Ceremony or Gala Dinner. They must be listed on the registration form.

ISF Membership Levels

Before submitting your registration request, please make sure you are aware of your company’s or organization’s membership level to ISF:

Ordinary Members
National Associations representing seed companies and enterprises based in the country.

Associate Members
Seed companies.

Affiliate Members
Service providers to the seed industry; or related associations not fitting in the ordinary membership category.

Seed associations and companies with a time-bound observer status.

If your company is a member of an ISF Ordinary Member (National Seed Association of your country of residence) please select « Member of a National Seed Association » when registering.

Please note that in the event that the Congress and related Pre & Post- Congress meetings are cancelled by the organizers in case of Force Majeure, as defined under the “ICC Force Majeure Clause”, the registration fee and any other service ordered through the registration will not be refunded. ISF and the organizers will endeavor to assist you in minimizing the consequences of such cancellation. Nevertheless, you may wish to insure yourself directly against such a risk.

Insurance and Liability

Neither the Organizers nor the NOC and Congress Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Congress. Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance. In addition to the above and to avoid any inconvenience, we advise you to carry your own insurance covering your travel, registration costs and lodging cost, should you have to cancel your participation after the cancellation dates indicated in the terms and conditions.

Pre & Post Congress Tours will be handled by our local agent through an online reservation portal dedicated to Pre & Post Congress Tours bookings for ISF World Seed Congress 2018 registered participants. The reservation portal will also contain all information about Pre & Post Congress Tours cancellation policy.

Monday 4 June
Half Day – Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Only 12km from Brisbane City, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary with over 130 koalas. Hand-feed kangaroos and wild lorikeets, or get cuddly with a beautiful koala.
Depart from Cultural Centre Pontoon South Bank and leave the city behind on a relaxing cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
Enjoy an informative commentary as you glide along Brisbane’s waterfront, from the bustle of the city’s skyscrapers to leafy suburbs with waterside mansions.
You will spend 3 hours exploring Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where you can hand feed kangaroos and emus, experience an authentic Australian sheep dog in action, spy on a shy platypus swimming, see the amazing birds of prey. Yes… and have photos taken holding a koala!
Enjoy a traditional Aussie BBQ lunch before returning on the iconic Mirimar river cruise.

Tangalooma Beach Day Cruise

So close to Brisbane, yet you’ll feel worlds away. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the relaxed Moreton Island lifestyle for the day.
Return scenic catamaran transfers from Holt Street Wharf, Pinkenba, Brisbane.
Beachside Grill Lunch in Tangalooma’s private waterfront marquee pavilion.
The sightseeing and fish feeding boat tour is fantastic for all ages and a great way to see the beautiful Tangalooma shipwrecks. See what’s under the water without getting in the water! Feed the fish from the comfort of the boat deck.

Wednesday 6 June
Half Day – Embrace your inner artist

In a relaxed, social setting at the Queensland State Library, take on the basic techniques of painting on canvas. One of our amazing artists will lead each session with step by step instruction and plenty of room for your own personalised touches.  No artistic experience required (we promise!).  By the end of the session, even the self proclaimed “non creatives” will have created a masterpiece to take home.
You will make your own way over to the beautiful Queensland terrace at the Queensland State Library where you will be split into 2 groups.
The 1st group will remain at the State library to participate in the art class while the 2nd group is free to explore the galleries within the same cultural precinct.
These groups will than swap, ending with a beautifully catered lunch on the Queensland Terrace.
